Awards Victoria believes Government can play a much greater role in Youth Development, and believes there is real need for a state-backed initiative to benefit young Victorians now and for the future.

Awards Victoria believes that the opportunity to learn leadership, teamwork and survival skills was essential for young Victorians. Awards Victoria has no doubt of the significant benefits that flow to both the community and young individuals from such programs. It is vital to equip students with “real world” knowledge and life skills through a structured initiative to fill a current gap in the state’s education system.
